Yesterday’s power outage – the power company ran late restoring power to the island L. Originally the outage was to last from 7am to 12pm, then got changed on Sat to 7 - 3, by Sun evening it switched to 8am to 4 pm. They had equipment problems and it was off yesterday until 5:30. As you can image the renters were starting to get a little touchy and were happy it was on before full dark. We had a power’s out breakfast for the renters at the office yesterday with krispy kreme doughnuts and used the generator to make them hot coffee. The repairs are to replace lines in the bay and change wooden poles in certain areas with concrete poles. We have been told to expect another scheduled outage or two, but the power company has not set those dates or times yet.

Alabama ? ready or

More rainfall is
expected today,
which forecasters
say will further

drenched over the
weekend by a series
of powerful storms.
The wet weather
closed roads,
flooded homes and
caused numerous

Saturday am

flooded from St

the areas around St
Denis Ct & Sehoy
being deepest.
In several areas
surf washed from

side of Bienville.
Things were trying
to dry on Sunday
& yesterday, however
today we are under
another coastal
flood watch, with
another one expected
on Thursday.
Below are some

Saturday around
noon. Those of
you with structural
damages have already

however driveway
damages are a bit
murkier – several
will need to be
scraped or in some
cases rock will need
to be added. A few
of the side streets
will need to have
sand scraped off
before cars can get
to your driveways.
Once tonight’s
weather passes we’ll
see if any new

occurred and will
have a better idea
what is needed in
terms of driveway
repair. Some

flooding
–This week (April
26-28) we are
experiencing
flooding on the west
end. There is
no rainfall, no
storm systems; just
a strong south wind.
It is pushing the
waves right up onto
the lots south of
Bienville and is
crossing Bienville
in a few places.
The picture below
was taken this
morning around Sehoy.
The winds are from
the south east
blowing 15-25 knots
this afternoon, and
are forecast to be
south east 10-15
knots tomorrow.
There will most
likely be new
problems with side
streets and driveway
issues. Will let
you know how things
look tomorrow.

flooded from St

the areas around St

In several areas
surf washed from

side of Bienville.
Things were trying
to dry on Sunday
& yesterday, however
today we are under
another coastal
flood watch, with
another one expected
on Thursday.
Below are some
pictures taken
Saturday around
noon. Those of
you with structural
damages have already
been contacted,
however driveway
damages are a bit
murkier – several
will need to be
scraped or in some
cases rock will need
to be added. A few
of the side streets
will need to have
sand scraped off
before cars can get
to your driveways.
Once tonight’s

occurred and will
have a better idea
what is needed in
terms of driveway
repair. Some
